Manama : His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received, in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, the Speaker of the Council of Representatives, Ahmed bin Salman Al-Musallam, the Chairman of the Shura (Consultative) Council, Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh, and their deputies, at the Sakhir Palace today.
They extended sincere congratulations to HM King Hamad on the kingdom’s National Days, in commemoration of the establishment of the modern Bahraini State as an Arab and Muslim state, founded by Ahmed Al Fateh in 1783, the anniversary of its full membership in the United Nations and the anniversary of His Majesty the King’s Accession to the Throne.
They wished HM the King abundant health and happiness, as well as further progress and prosperity to Bahrain and its people. They commended the Kingdom’s comprehensive achievements under the wise leadership of His Majesty in all fields, and the prestigious standing it has reached among nations thanks to HM’s wise policies.
HM King Hamad congratulated them on the auspicious occasion of the National Days and thanked them for their wishes and noble sentiments.
HM the King appreciated the dedicated efforts exerted by the Speaker, the Shura Chairman and their deputies in the service of the nation and the people.
HM King Hamad expressed his pride in the major role played by the legislative branch to develop the national action, strengthen the democratic process, defend the top interests of the Kingdom, and fulfill the aspirations of its citizens, praising the level of the ongoing fruitful cooperation between the Executive and the Legislature.
HM the King commended the dedicated efforts made by Bahrainis to serve the kingdom in all fields, and enhance its status at various international gatherings.
