Bahrain : His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa today received a cable of thanks and gratitude from the Interior Minister, General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, marking the conclusion of this year’s Ashoora season.
The Minister extended, on behalf of himself and all the affiliates of the Interior Ministry, deepest thanks and gratitude to HM the King for HM’s praise, in his statement marking the end of this year’s Ashoora season, of the tireless efforts exerted by the Ministry’s personnel to carry out their patriotic duties of protecting the safety of everyone.
The Interior Minister stressed that although the Ashoora commemoration was held amid exceptional circumstances created by the Coronavirus, the rituals were held normally thanks to the patriotism and awareness of everyone, and the prevailing community partnership between the police personnel and the citizens.
General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla pointed out that the citizens and police of Bahrain had been keen to provide a secure atmosphere, and carried out their patriotic duties to protect the nation and its human, social and religious values with dedication, respect and high discipline, drawing inspiration from HM King Hamad’s wise leadership, as well as far-sighted and enlightened vision.
The minister pledged to do his utmost to always keep the kingdom more secure, stable and respected.
