Bahrain : His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander, today visited the General Command of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF).
Upon arrival, HM the King was welcomed by the BDF Commander-in-Chief, Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa.
HM the King was accompanied by National Security Advisor and Royal Guard Commander, Major-General His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and Royal Guard Special Force Commander, Lieutenant-Colonel His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
HM the King, the Supreme Commander, was also welcomed by the BDF Chief of Staff, Lieutenant-General Dheyab bin Saqr Al-Nuaimi, and a number of senior BDF officers.
HM King Hamad was briefed about the future plans to develop all BDF branches, as well as about the beginning of the new training season, in accordance with the pre-set plans.
HM the King expressed pride in the BDF personnel’s competence, citing their constant keenness to carry out the patriotic tasks entrusted to them with courage and determination.
HM the King, the Supreme Commander, requested senior officers to convey his greetings to all the BDF affiliates at various work sites, in Bahrain and abroad.
