His Majesty the King’s Advisor for Diplomatic Affairs Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa received the newly appointed Indian Ambassador Piyush Srivastava.
The advisor praised the historical relations between Bahrain and India, stressing the Kingdom’s interest in advancing them at various levels, and in strengthening cooperation for the common interests of both sides, wishing the ambassador success in his duties.
The ambassador expressed his pride in the strong bilateral relations and extended his appreciation of the Kingdom’s care and attention to the Indian community, noting that Bahrain has always been a distinguished model of openness and coexistence of different religions and cultures.
