Muscat : His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik of Oman today gave an audience at Al Barakah Palace to Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Director General of the World Trade Organisation (WTO).
According to Oman News Agency (ONA), His Majesty valued WTO’s efforts to streamline global trade and ensure its stability. His Majesty also lauded its remarkable role to overcome challenges facing the global economy.
WTO Director General expressed the organisation’s pride in its distinguished relations with the Sultanate of Oman. She commended the open trade and investment policies espoused by Oman under the wise leadership of His Majesty.
