London: His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today attended the Service of Thanksgiving for the life of His Royal Highness Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, at Westminster Abbey, London, United Kingdom.
HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad expressed his sincere condolences to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, Queen of the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland, President of the Commonwealth of Nations, His Royal Highness Prince Charles, Prince of Wales, and the royal family, government, and British people.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister paid tribute to His Royal Highness Prince Philip’s service to the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth.
HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad recalled that His Royal Highness Prince Philip was instrumental in strengthening the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Kingdom’s long-standing relationship. His Royal Highness noted that Bahrain is committed to continuing to develop these ties.
