Manama : His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today submitted the resignation of the Cabinet to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, in accordance with clause (e) of Article (33), which stipulates the re-formation of the Cabinet at the start of each legislative term of the National Assembly.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister said that he was honoured by the royal trust bestowed upon him to serve as Prime Minister and complete the implementation of the 2019-2022 Government Programme, set national priorities, formulate policies and launch initiatives, along with Cabinet members, in accordance with the royal visions and aspirations to move forward in all paths of development and strive to transform challenges into promising opportunities to achieve inspiring success stories across various fields so that Bahrain always remains an advanced model in development and progress.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister affirmed that in compliance with HM the King’s directives, and thanks to the will and determination of Team Bahrain, the kingdom has successfully confronted the novel Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic and carried on its efforts to implement the Fiscal Balance Program and achieve its goals with the highest levels of efficiency despite the challenges facing the global economy.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister also asserted that all government plans and programmes, including the Economic Recovery Plan, have taken into account the various dimensions of development and their variables, as well as the process of constant innovation and development that they require in terms of planning and elaborate implementation to reach the desired goals.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister asserted that achieving the objectives of the comprehensive development process, led by HM the King, requires continuing to work with determination, sincerity and strong will by developing government performance and its outcomes, enhancing the quality of government services, and continuing to consolidate the values of competitiveness, sustainability and fairness, in cooperation with the legislative branch to achieve a prosperous present and a bright future for the nation and the citizens.
