    One of the hardest parts for the frontline workers has been that social-distancing measures have prevented them from comforting their loved ones.

    But, the Bahrain Health Ministry gave the frontline workers an unforgettable surprise – a “hug curtain” – the next best thing to a real hug.

    The health workers were working tirelessly to defeat the COVID-19 pandemic for months, and this came as a surprise.

    “This hug that I haven’t got for months is enough,” said a health worker, as he expresses his gratitude to the health ministry.

    “This was a pleasant surprise,” said another health worker.
