Manama : President of Hungary, Katalin Novák, attended today the Horse Racing Cup of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa and his children. The race was held at the Rashid Equestrian and Horse Racing Club in the presence of Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa and Chairman of the High Authority of the Rashid Equestrian and Horse Racing Club His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa presented a briefing to the Hungarian President about Bahrain’s interest in the equestrian sport, in general, and horse racing, in particular, being part of the kingdom’s inherent history. He also discussed with her bilateral relations of friendship and cooperation and ways of boosting them at all levels.
The Hungarian President watched the race for which cash prizes worth BD 68,000 have been allocated. Three cars were also up for grab by the spectators who attended the race.
