    In the Presence and Follow-up of Nasser bin Hamad Isa bin Abdullah Crowns Al Enzy as Champion of Khalid bin Hamad Endurance Cup for Private Stables

    Bahrain : In the presence and follow-up of HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of HM the King for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs and Honourary President of Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation (BREEF), and under the patronage of HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of the General Sports Authority (GSA) and President of Bahrain Olympic Committee, HH Shaikh Isa bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, President of BREEF, crowned Sarhan Al Enzy of Al Safenat Stable as the winner of the private stables competition on the HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa Endurance Cup which covered a distance of 120km.

    The event featured wide participation, and Yusuf Saleh of Al Asayel Stable came second, while third place went to Ahmed Al Fateh Stable’s Mohammed Amy.
    Commenting on this, HH Shaikh Nasser expressed appreciation to HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa for His Highness’ continued support, adding that such backing has contributed to fulfilling many objectives and supporting the youth and sports sector in the Kingdom of Bahrain, especially that the endurance races are exhibiting broad involvement of young people.
    His Highness explained that HH Shaikh Khalid’s sponsorship led to the successful organisation of the event.
    Additionally, His Highness underlined that the large-scale participation in the race is clear evidence of the successful progress of the private stables and their high capabilities in preparing the horses ahead of the competition.
    Furthermore, HH Shaikh Nasser explained that such races have always uncovered new talents. Meanwhile, HH Shaikh Nasser praised the sponsoring companies of the HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa Endurance Cup.
     
    Winners
     
    Al Enzy won the event after clocking 04 hours, 47 minutes and 50 seconds, while Yusuf Saleh came second after posting a time of 04 hours, 48 minutes and 10 seconds. Mohammed Amy of Ahmed Al Fateh Stable was third in 04 hours, 48 minutes and 11 seconds.
