    Indian School students shine  in CBSE class XII results

    Manama : The students of The Indian School Bahrain (ISB)performed exceedingly well in the CBSE class XII exams  and have passed with flying colors. The  students  have continued their excellence in academics by achieving spectacular success with the  toppers at the school delivering exceptional scores.

    Veena Kizhakkethil who secured   97.4 % of marks (487/500) emerged as the Indian School topper. Anjali Shameer   who scored 96.8 % (484 /500) is placed in   the second position in the school. Saniya Suzanne John secured the third position in the school with 96.6 % (483/ 500). This year 20 students got A1 in all subjects.

    In keeping with the tradition of academic excellence, the ISB has achieved an overall pass percentage of 93% in the CBSE exam.  A total of 653 students had appeared for the exam which was conducted in March 2023.  The classes were hybrid (online and offline) till September 2022  and since then the classes were held fully offline. In spite of all these challenging situations, the Indian School students showed a commendable performance in the exams.

    Science Toppers

    Veena Kizhakkethil with 97.4% (487/500) secured the first position in the school in the Science stream. Veena is also the school topper.  Kevin Antony 96.2 % (481/500) secured the second position  in the Science stream while Jeon Biju Manakkal secured the third position in the science stream with 96% marks (480/500).

    Commerce Toppers

    Saniya Suzanne John who secured 96.6% (483/500) is the topper in the Commerce stream. Saniya is also the third topper in the school.  Gayatri Dhananjayan Ayilath is in the second position in Commerce stream with 96.4 % (482/500) marks. Abel John Kuruvilla who scored 95.6% (478/500) is placed in the third position in Commerce.

    Humanities Toppers

    Anjali Shameer  who scored 96.8 % (484/500) is the topper in the Humanities stream. Anjali is also the second topper in school. Rishika Pritam Manjeshwar who scored 95.8% is in the second position with 479 marks. Anugraha Susan Sam who scored 94.8 % is placed in the third position with 474 marks in  the Humanities stream.

    ISB  Hon. Chairman   Prince S Natarajan, Hon.   Secretary Saji Antony, Hon. Member Academics  Mohammed Khursheed Alam, Members of the Executive Committee and Principal VR Palaniswamy congratulated the students, teachers and parents for the stellar performance.

    ISB  Hon. Chairman   Prince S Natarajan said :   It is a matter of immense pride that the Indian School continues to carve a legacy for itself and achieve such a stellar result in the exam. The result is a testimony to the hard work of students, collective effort of  teachers and the school’s commitment for excellence.

    Hon.Secretary Saji Antony  said: The ISB students have done exceedingly well in the examination this year  thanks to the  consistent work by the teachers who motivated and inspired their pupils to give their best.

    EC Member Academics Mohammad Khursheed Alam said: “The Indidan School students  brilliant performance proves  the school’s  excellence towards holistic development.”   

    Congratulating the students on their exemplary success, Principal VR Palaniswamy said:  The ISB  students have proven themselves once again and performed very well. The credit for this singular achievement also goes to the academic team who worked closely with the students.We are very proud of our students and parents for supporting them.

    • Qualitative and landmark results

    • 1 student scored 100 in English
    • 1 student scored 97 in Mathematics
    • 1 student scored 96 in Physics
    • 2 students scored 100 and 1 student scored 99 in Chemistry
    • 10 students scored 95 in Biology
    • 2 students scored 100 in and 3 students scored 99 in Computer Science
    • 2 students scored 98 in Engineering Graphics
    • 3 students scored 99 in Informative Practices
    • 3 students scored 99 in Accountancy
    • 2 students scored 100 in Marketing
    • 1 student scored 99 in Business Studies
    • 1 student scored 99 in Economics
    • 1 student scored 98 in Psychology
    • 1 student scored 99 in Sociology
    • 1 student scored 97 in Home Science
