The Indian School organised the second Patrol Leader’s Training Camp for the Bharat Scouts and Guides (BSG) at the Riffa Campus on June 15. A total of 117 students including the Patrol Leaders, Troop Leaders, Group Leaders, their assistants and 13 teachers attended the one-day camp.
The camp was inaugurated by ISB Hon.Chairman Prince S Natarajan who is also the Commissioner of Bharat Scouts and Guides. ISB Hon. Secretary Saji Antony, EC Members Rajesh Nambiar, Saji George, Principal VR Palaniswamy, Riffa Campus Principal Pamela Xavier, Vice-Principal Senior Section Anand Nair, Vice-Principal Middle Section Vinod S and BSG Secretary Mukunda Warrier were present at the function.
Prince S Natarajan appreciated the scout masters and the entire leaders for their initiative and hard work. He also extended his special appreciation to the students who are doing a commendable job in all the school programmes controlling the discipline.Principal V R Palaniswamy stressed the importance of these camps in school life and asked the young leaders to get the maximum benefit out of it. ISB Secretary Saji Antony said the Indian school would leave no stone unturned to provide the best possible opportunities to the students in various activities and appreciated the teachers and students for their commendable works. EC Member Rajesh Nambiar narrated his experience to the young leaders and gave valuable advice to develop the leadership qualities through such camps.

Earlier the camp started with a variety of activities including B.P exercise, morning jerk, uniform and various proficiency badges, kit inspection, whipping, knots, spare time activities, camp games, treasure hunt, camp craft, camp songs, and camp fire .
