    Khalid bin Hamad development programmes with Oil Minister

    Bahrain : HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of the General Sports Authority and President of Bahrain Olympic Committee, has received at his office Al Wadi Palace HE Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Oil Minister.

    The meeting was attended by HH Shaikh Salman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Vice President of the General Sports Authority and HE Dr Abdulrahman Sadiq Askar, CEO of the Authority.

    At the beginning of the meeting, HH Shaikh Khalid welcomed  the Oil Minister and conveyed to him the greetings of HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the Kingdom of Bahrain, and HM’s best wishes for His Excellency.

    He discussed with the minister the plans of the General Sports Authority to support clubs, federations and sports agencies in the Kingdom.

    He explored with HH Shaikh Khalid the programmes and projects that the Authority intends to carry out across various sports fields in order to achieve development and growth.

    From his side, the Minister expressed utmost appreciation and gratitude to HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa for his efforts in this field, affirming that HH is keen to exert all efforts in order to develop the sports movement and lead it to more successes and further prosperity in the era of HM the King.
