Bahrain ;  HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa,  First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of the General Sports Authority and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee has encouraged Bahrain National MMA team’s fighters to make honourable participation in the World Cup which is organised by the IMMAF on September 8-11, in Prague, Czech Republic.

Moreover, HH Shaikh Khalid urged the team to double their efforts and continue performing at the highest level in order to accomplish further successes under Bahrain’s name and raise its flag high in this important sports gathering.

This came during a phone call between HH Shaikh Khalid and Mr Mohammed Ali Qambar, President of the Bahrain Mixed Martial Arts Federation BMMAF.

HH Shaikh Khalid affirmed during the conversation that the team is four medals away from hitting the 100 medal mark, expressing confidence in the team’s fighters to showcase their genuine capabilities and abilities.

It’s worth noting that Bahrain will be represented by five fighters in the last 16 round of the event, four of whom are in the senior sector, namely Mohammed Ghoul and Shamil Gympatov, in the 70.3kg category, Nayef Fekri in the 77.1kg category and Yousif Sayyar in the 83.9kg section.
