Coronavirus: Kuwait records a huge increase in daily cases by 836

Kuwait has reported 836 new coronavirus cases, of which 549 are citizens, taking the total confirmed cases in the country to 54,894, according to the Ministry of Health.

4 patients died of the coronavirus in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of deaths to 390.

Kuwait has the world’s 33rd highest number of coronavirus infections just over UAE.

Meanwhile, 649 new recoveries have been reported in the country, raising the total recoveries to 44,610.

Kuwait has done 3,835 NP swab tests in the past 24 hours, as the country ramps up its efforts to test more people and detect cases early, according to the health ministry.

So far, the country has conducted a total of 433,336 coronavirus tests.
