Coronavirus: Kuwait reports 601 new cases, four deaths

Kuwait has reported 601 new coronavirus cases, of which 402 are citizens, taking the total confirmed cases in the country to 51,245, according to the Ministry of Health.

Kuwait has the world’s 32nd highest number of coronavirus infections just below UAE, as the country surpassed 50,000 cases yesterday.

4 patients died of the coronavirus in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of deaths to 377.

514 new recoveries have been reported in the country, raising the total recoveries to 41,515.

Kuwait has done 4,195 NP swab tests in the past 24 hours, as the country ramps up its efforts to test more people and detect cases early, according to the health ministry.

So far, the country has conducted a total of 413,530 coronavirus tests.
