    Labor Minister receives BCCI Chairman

    Bahrain :  Labor and Social Development Minister and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Labor Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) Jamil bin Mohammad Ali Humaidan received Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI)’s Chairman Sameer Abdullah Nass.

    The Alternate Member at International Labour Organisation (ILO) Board of Directors, for the “Business Owners’ Group” category, representing West Asian countries Sonia Mohammed Janahi, was present.

    Humaidan praised the national competencies that represent Bahrain in various international forums, noting that the election of Janahi as an alternate member of the Board of Directors of ILO is another achievement added to Bahrain.

    The minister stressed all assistance and support to Janahi, who enjoys high competence to carry out her expected role with the international organization.

    Sonia Janahi appreciated the minister’s keenness in the national competencies that represent Bahrain in international forums related to labor and development fields, stressing that she is looking forward to strengthening coordination and cooperation with the ministry.
