    Labour and Social Development Minister meets Sanabis delegation

    Manama: Labour and Social Development Minister Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan received Council of Representatives member Mp. Mamdouh Al-Saleh, Sanabis Cooperative Society Chairman Mohammed Abdulla Mansour and Sanabis Youth Centre Ahmed Abdul Hussein Al-Khabbaz.They discussed a number of labour and social issues, focusing on facilities and services being provided by the ministry to non-governmental associations and the difficulties facing them.

    The minister stressed the importance of fostering the principles of community partnership  to spearhead development project and support the work of non-governmental societies to conceive innovative projects and ensure their sustained development.  He underlined the need to strengthen the role of charity societies and and civil society institutions.The delegation commended cooperation with the Ministry of Labour and Social Development and the civil society institutions, hailing dedicated efforts to carry out the the Government’s policy which is aimed to enhance citizens’ standards of living, provide development services, create work opportunities and upgrade productivity.
