    Labour Minister opens fourth Foulath Conference on occupational safety

    Bahrain : Labour Minister, Jamil bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan, the Chairman of the Occupational Safety and Health Council, inaugurated today the fourth Foulath Conference on health, environment and occupational safety, which is organized by Foulath Group under his patronage from October 2 to 4.

    Themed “Healthy and Safe Lifestyle”, the event is being organized by Foulath Group at its premises in Salman Industrial City, in Hidd, in the presence of its Executive Director Dilip George and the participation of workers from the government sectors, social partners, experts and speakers from Bahrain and beyond.

    The conference aims to review the best successful practices in companies and the work environment and discuss related issues to improve occupational health and safety as well as the preventive health system for workers in various production sites.

    The Minister of Labour described the conference as an opportunity to shed light on the main challenges to the occupational health and safety initiatives, promote the best practices and increase the capabilities of specialists to ensure a secure, stable, safe and healthy work environment.
