    Labour Minister praises private sector’s plans to train, employ Bahrainis

    Manama :  Labor Minister Jameel bin Mohammad Ali Humaidan met the Nasser Saeed Al Hajri Corporation (NSH) Board of Directors Chairman Dr. Ravi Pillai, during the minister’s visit to the company, which is working on the refinery development project for the Bahrain Petroleum Company (Bapco).

    The minister was briefed on the company’s policies in the field of training and employing Bahrainis, as the company employed 443 Bahraini last year.

    Humaidan was also informed about the security and safety measures in place to protect workers at the company’s work sites, as well as about its success in reaching 50 million working hours without accidents or occupational injuries in 2022.

    Humaidan praised the company’s plans to employ and train more Bahraini citizens and applauded its keenness to provide a suitable work environment that stimulates productivity.
    The chairman praised the facilities provided by the ministry to various private sector establishments, stressing the success of the company’s experience in investing in Bahraini human resources.
