Bahrain : Vice-President of the Supreme Council for Environment (SCE) and Deputy Chairman of the Higher Committee of the Rashid Equestrian and Horseracing Club, His Highness Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid Al Khalifa, has extended deepest congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, on the Royal Endurance Team’s success in winning the first places in the contests of the International Endurance Race of Fontainebleau in France yesterday.
HH Shaikh Faisal also congratulated HM the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, Captain of the Royal Endurance Team, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and the First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sport, General Sports Authority Chairman and Bahrain Olympic Committee President, His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, on the Team’s triumphs.
In this regard, HH Shaikh Faisal praised the success of Abdulrahman Al Zayed and Mayoof Al Rumaihi in winning the 160-km and 127-km races, respectively, as well as on the outstanding result attained by his son, HH Shaikh Isa bin Faisal bin Rashid Al Khalifa, who finished third in the 100-km contest.
HH Shaikh Faisal asserted that the Royal Endurance Team’s continuous achievements are the fruitful outcome of the constant support of HM the King, and the unwavering follow-up of HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
HH Shaikh Faisal asserted that HH Shaikh Nasser’s distinguished captaincy of the Royal Endurance Team has contributed to its success in reaching podiums at various races, consolidating the kingdom’s standing in the endurance sport at the international level.
