International Women’s Day, held on March 8th every year, is a day of
celebration and advocacy for women’s rights and equality around the world. It is a day to
recommit ourselves to creating a more equitable and inclusive environment for all women
in the workplace and the world.
Being a socially responsible company, LuLu Exchange Bahrain also celebrated the day for its
women staff. The women staff were recognized and appreciated for their hard work and
dedication to the company, in a celebration that highlighted the importance of creating a
safe, supportive, and equal work environment for women.
The event started with a get-together and engaged in amazing conversations. This was
followed by an insightful session by Ms. Neyaz Nedhal, a renowned Dietician, who
emphasized the significance of maintaining a healthy body.
Speaking about the event, Mr. Edison Fernandez, General Manager of LuLu Exchange
Bahrain, said, “We understand the impact of acknowledging the contributions of our female
staff. By taking a moment to say, ‘thank you’, we recognize their efforts, hard work, and
