Bahrain : The Minister of Oil and Environment, Special Envoy for Climate Affairs, Dr Mohamed bin Mubarak Bin Daina has affirmed that the OPEC+ decision to cut oil production by two million barrels per day in November, comes after consensus among all members states in the alliance. He noted that the decision was made following specialized technical studies related to global oil market developments.
The Minister highlighted the importance of this decision, and what was agreed upon during the last OPEC meeting, which was based on economic information and studies related to supply and demand in global oil markets.
Dr Bin Daina has stressed member countries’ commitment to ensure market stability in managing global oil and energy supplies, noting that any market developments will be monitored in upcoming meetings to ensure the stability of markets and global supply and demand.
