Bahrain’s Ministry of Interior has announced its support as a steering committee for the first edition of the Arab International Cybersecurity Summit (AICS) which will take place from December 6-8 at Exhibition World in Sakhir.
The event will be held under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The Ministry of Interior will be providing expert support, guidance and oversight of progress to summit organisers Faalyat and Messe Frankfurt for one of the most important events on the calendar.
Across the three days, 75 speakers will deliver keynote addresses to as many as 6,000 attendees and highlight the importance of cybersecurity in a digital world.
As the body responsible for law enforcement and public safety in Bahrain, it is crucial that the Ministry of Interior is involved in AICS to continue to further its efforts to provide the safest and most secured infrastructure for today and the future.
The Ministry of Interior’s incredible dedication to modernisation and development to improve efficiency in Bahrain means that is in the perfect place to accept this advisory role. The Ministry consistently plays a crucial role in protecting the Kingdom from cybersecurity threats using the latest technology, so its involvement in the historical summit can only be mutually beneficial for both parties.
