Bahrain : Under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of Bahrain, the LuLu Group’s flagship LuLu Hypermarket was felicitated by Bahrain’s Minister of Labour as the retail group with the highest number of Bahraini employees. At the function, Minister of Labour Mr. Jameel Humaidan also awarded two LuLu staff members for their exemplary work and dedication – they were HR Manager Shaikha Nasser for her work in job recruitment of Bahrainis to all posts and Customer Service employee R. Ebrahim for ensuring the LuLu promise of quality service and care of customer.

We thank the Leadership and Government of Bahrain for their recognition – it will encourage us to strive harder in building a bright future for Bahrain, “ said LuLu Group Director Mr. Juzer Rupawala “Our Chairman Mr. Yusuff Ali M.A. believes in the ability of Bahrainis – especially the youth – to serve as the engines of progress for the Kingdom and realize  the vision of progress that the leadership has for Bahrain’s future. They represent the bright future of Bahrain.

This is reflected by the opportunities given for Bahrainis in the LuLu Group globally.  Our strong Bahraini work force forms the nucleus of our operations here in the Kingdom and is a key to our success. We work closely with the Ministry of Labour to offer Bahrainis the requisite training to nurture their talent and are proud to say that Bahrainis have proved successful in managerial and specialized positions not only in the Kingdom but across the Lulu network in other GCC countries as well.”
