Bahrain : Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture Minister Wael bin Nasser Al Mubarak issued an edict on reducing from municipal fees for 86 Bahraini families living in rented houses for August.
The minister said that the decision came based on His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s constant keenness to provide decent living for all the citizens, through reduced municipal fees, exempting low-income citizens from paying fees in the future or dropping their unpaid debts.
This came is in line with the directives of Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister to achieve the citizens’s aspirations.
Al Mubarak noted that the ministry is keen to continue harnessing all capabilities and adopting initiatives aimed at enhancing citizens’ standard of living by reducing municipal fees, in line with citizens’ needs and living conditions.
