    Odias in the GCC urged to contribute to Odisha’s economic growth

    Prominent Odia’s in the Gulf countries were urged to contribute to the economic growth of Odisha. Union minister Dharmendra Pradhan through video conferencing reiterated that India would emerge as one of the leading economies of the world in the post-Corona scenario.

    He further sought their cooperation to be a part of the process and appealed them to contribute to the economic growth of Odisha post the prevailing situation.

    The Union minister said India was forging ahead under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and added that efforts are on to ensure life with a livelihood.

    India will be a great brand in the world economy, Pradhan said and added that the country will become a big oil market in the world in the days to come.

    The video conferencing was attended by over 15 prominent Odias from UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait and Oman.

    Those who attended the video conference were Dr Arun Kumar Praharaj and from Baharain, Priya Mohan Mallik, B B Sahu and Debashish Rout from Saudi Arabia, Bidyabhushan Mohanty and Kajal Prasad Biswal from Qatar, Chandra Sekhar Khuntia, Amiya Mishra and Samir Biswal from UAE, Girija Shankar Padhi, Girija Nandan Panda from Kuwait, Dinabandhu Samal and Sanjay Kumar Jetty from Oman
