Oman has registered 5 death and 1,067 daily cases of coronavirus, taking the total cases to 19,954.
The death toll reached 89 after reporting the new death.
Meanwhile, 983 new recoveries were announced, bringing the total to 6,623.
232 health workers were infected with COVID-19.
2,747 tests were conducted in the past 24 hours, across the sultanate.
The decrease in traffic accidents contributed to the availability of intensive care rooms for patients.
The Duqum area will be closed from Saturday until July 3 due to the growing number of infections reported in the place.
Also, Lockdown will be lifted from most parts of Muttrah within two days.
