Oman has reported a spike of 930 in daily cases of coronavirus, taking the total cases in the sultanate to 16,016.
Most of the newly admitted cases are from foreigners, which is 691 and the rest 239 from citizens, according to the Ministry of Health.
The death toll in the sultanate stands at 72, as no deaths were reported today.
Currently, 67 patients are in intensive care, and a total of 251 are being treated in health care facilities.
Meanwhile, a total of 3,451 people have recovered from the virus.
3,128 coronavirus tests were conducted in the sultanate in the past 24 hours.
