Bahrain : Chairman of the Shura Council of the Sultanate of Oman, Shaikh Khalid bin Hilal bin Nasser Al Mawali, received today Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Sultanate of Oman, Dr. Juma bin Ahmed Al Kaabi.

During the meeting, the Shura Council Speaker praised the level of coordination with the Bahraini National Assembly, and welcomed cooperation and the move forward towards developing joint relations in all legislative and parliamentary fields, stressing the Sultanate’s aspiration to enhance this cooperation and activate aspects of exchange of parliamentary expertise between the two brotherly countries.

Ambassador Dr. Juma bin Ahmed Al Kaabi hailed the historical brotherly ties and the distinguished relations between the two brotherly countries, stressing the keenness of the Kingdom of Bahrain to strengthen these relations and push them towards broader horizons in many areas for constructive and fruitful cooperation.

This is, he said, mainly in the legislative field for the benefit of the two brotherly countries and peoples, given the importance of parliamentary diplomacy in achieving rapprochement between viewpoints, unifying aspirations between brothers and sharing experiences in the parliamentary field.

During the meeting, various aspects of legislative and parliamentary cooperation between the two councils were discussed, in addition to a number of other issues of common interest.
