The General Directorate of Civil Defense has trained 5,501 volunteers who have carried out 1,118 precautionary sanitization operations across the governorates.
Civil Defense Director-General Colonel Ali Mohammed Al Houti said they continued the massive precautionary sanitizing operations with the assistance of volunteers who responded to the National Taskforce for Combating Coronavirus campaign.
The Civil Defense has held 344 training courses for 1,030 workers from cleaning and private companies and for 858 mosques’ and worship places workers, he added.
He expressed gratitude for the efforts made by authorities, companies and volunteers that reflect the society’s awareness and contribute to mitigating the spread of the coronavirus.
