    Pledge to comply with precautionary measures during Ashoora

    Bahrain  :The Jafferi Endowments Directorate held the annual meeting of the community centres and Husseinyas via video conference to discuss  preparations for the Ashoora season 1443.

    Supreme Council for Health (SCH) President, Head of the National Medical Taskforce for Combating COVID-19 Lieutenant-General Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdulla Al-Khalifa, attended the remote session, along with governors, taskforce members, municipalities general directors, in addition to 250 participants.

    Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdulla Al-Khalifa highlighted Bahrain’s strides in combating the pandemic, urging commitment to all mandatory precautionary measures which will be enforced at men and women community centres and Husseinya processions during the Ashoora rituals to protect public health

    Jafferi Endowments Directorate Chairman Youssef bin Saleh Al Saleh valued the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister to care for religious rituals, especially Ashoora season, despite COVID-19 challenges.

    He hailed the keen follow-up of Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla AlKhalifa, commending national efforts to maintain security and stability, protect achievements and facilitate religious efforts.

    He also lauded the efforts of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, chaired by Shaikh Abdulrahman bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al-Khalifa and the follow-up of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ali bin Abdulla Al Khalifa.
