London : The Queen’s coffin has arrived at Holyroodhouse Palace in Edinburgh after being greeted by thousands of people at the city’s Royal Mile.
The funeral cortege has now completed a six-hour journey from Balmoral Castle. Onlookers threw floral tributes in the path of the cortege and applauded.
The coffin will be flown to London on Tuesday, and the Queen will lie in state at Westminster Hall from Wednesday
