Manama : In the presence of the Chairman of the High Committee of the Rashid Equestrian and Horseracing Club, His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and the Vice-President of the Supreme Council for Environment and the Deputy Chairman of the High Committee of the Rashid Equestrian and Horse Racing Club, HH Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Rashid Club today held the 20th race for this season, 2022-2023, at its racecourse in Raffa, Sakhir.
Their Highnesses, representatives of sponsors and equestrian sports fans also attended the eight-round race which was held over the cups of HH Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid bin Isa Al Khalifa, HH Shaikh Isa bin Faisal bin Rashid Al Khalifa, the Bahrain National Gas Company (BANAGAS), the Al Bilad Newspaper and the Horse Welfare Authority.
HH Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid bin Isa Al Khalifa crowned owner Abdulla Ahmed Al-Isa, the winner of HH’s cup, while HH Shaikh Isa bin Faisal bin Rashid Al Khalifa presented the trophy of HH’s cup to HH Shaikh Sultan Al-Deen bin Mohammed bin Salman Al Khalifa.
Shaikh Duaij bin Salman Al Khalifa presented the trophy of the Horse Welfare Authority Cup to HH Shaikh Sultan Al-Deen bin Mohammed bin Salman Al Khalifa.
Jamal Al-Buainain crowned HH Shaikh Khalid bin Ali bin Isa Al Khalifa, and HH Shaikh Sultan Al-Deen bin Mohammed bin Salman Al Khalifa, the winners of BANAGAS Cup for the fourth and fifth rounds, respectively.
Ahmed Al-Bahar and Moanes Al-Mardi presented the trophies of the Al-Bilad newspaper to owners Jassim Mohammed Assad and Hussain Ibrahim Al-Afoo, the winners of the second and third rounds.
