Manama: In the presence of the First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sport, General Sports Authority Chairman and Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) President, HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and Deputy BOC President, HH Shaikh Isa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, the Rashid Club today held the fourth race for this season, 2021-2022, at its racecourse in Raffa, Sakhir.
Also attended by the Vice-President of the Supreme Council for Environment and the Deputy Chairman of the High Committee of the Rashid Equestrian and Horse Racing Club HH Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid bin Isa Al Khalifa, the seven-round race was held over the cups of the Bahrain Olympic Committee and the Bahrain Petroleum Company.
Their highnesses shaikhs, BOC Secretary-General, Mohammed Hassan Al-Nusuf, representatives of BAPCO, the race sponsors, and equestrian sport fans were also present. HH Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa presented the trophy of BOC Cup to trainer Fawzi Nass. Shaikh Ibrahim bin Khalid Al Khalifa and Khalid Bu Hazza crowned the winners of the Bapco Cup.
Shaikh Ibrahim bin Khalid Al Khalifa presented the trophies of the third round to Abdulla Fawzi Nass, the fourth round to trainer Allen Smith and the sixth round to owner Hassan Mufrah Al-Ajmi. Khalid Bu Hazza presented the trophies of the second round to the trainer. James Naylor, the fifth round to trainer Allen Smith, and the seventh round to HH Shaikh Sultanuddin bin Mohammed bin Salman Al Khalifa.
