Manama : The Royal Court announces that His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa will lead well-wishers in welcoming His Holiness Pope Francis upon his arrival in the Kingdom on Thursday on a historic four-day official visit.
His Holiness Pope Francis will participate in the “Bahrain Dialogue Forum: East and West for Human Coexistence”, to be held under the patronage of His Majesty the King.
At the Forum, His Holiness will be joined by His Eminence Dr. Ahmed Al Tayeb, Sheikh of Al Azhar Al Sharif and Chairman of the Muslim Council of Elders, who will also arrive in Bahrain on Thursday at the invitation of HM the King.
The Royal Court takes this occasion to welcome Bahrain’s illustrious guests and their accompanying delegations, wishing them a fulfilling visit in Bahrain.
The Court praises His Holiness and His Eminence’s commitment to promoting a culture of dialogue, coexistence, tolerance and support for human fraternity.
