Englishman Sam Patterson is the latest highly-touted prospect to sign an extension deal with BRAVE Combat Federation. The fastest-growing MMA promotion in the world has tied down “The Future” for a multi-fight deal that will see him continue his rapid progress under the BRAVE CF banner.
Patterson has blossomed into one of the biggest prospects in England last year as he was able to put on his finest performance yet against muay that champion Cian Cowley. At BRAVE CF 33 in Saudi Arabia, Sam surprised the world of MMA as he dominated Cowley on the stand-up before submitting the tough Irishman in the third round with a guillotine choke.
It was a much-awaited first victory for the youngster at BRAVE CF after going the distance in a back-and-forth bout against Ahmed Amir which ended in a draw, back in April of last year. The win against Cowley propelled him to the main event spot against John Brewin, though that fight ended up postponed due to the Coronavirus outbreak.
Now that BRAVE CF has been taking the necessary cautions and is getting back to holding shows, Patterson hopes to start off his new deal with the company with a big-name opponent and another win.
“I’m fighting for one of the biggest organizations in the world in BRAVE Combat Federation. I can’t thank enough for what they’ve done for my career. I can’t wait for my next fight! See you soon, BRAVE Nation”, exclaimed the happy Patterson in an online video to announce his signing.
