Saudi Arabia’s own Mostafa Rashed Neda is set to fight for the second time under the BRAVE CF banner, and once again will defend his home turf, as he is one of the stars of the organization’s return to Jeddah, at BRAVE CF 33, which takes place at the Prince Abdullah Al Faisal Stadium, on December 27th. Mostafa is taking on Alexis Fontes and is thankful for BRAVE CF’s impact in the mixed martial arts scene all over the Arab world.
Ahead of his bout with Fontes, Neda spoke highly of BRAVE Combat Federation affording opportunities to Arab fighters and is hopeful that BRAVE CF 33 will spread out the word about mixed martial arts in the Kingdom.
“BRAVE CF has done so much for the fighters in Saudi Arabia, and in fact all over the region. We are thankful for all that, and we hope BRAVE CF 33 represents a new era so that fighters realize that opportunities are available here. That’s what BRAVE CF provides and I’m happy to be a part of that”.
Mostafa won his BRAVE CF debut against Najm Khan and is hoping to add another victory for his return, once again taking place in his home country of Jeddah. While he admits Fontes is a “great fighter”, Neda is confident of taking him out before the end of the fight.
“Alexis is a great fighter, a very good overall grappler. But after I’m done with him, he’ll be wondering why he chose to fight me. I’m going to put him down and knock him out for my people”, promised Rashed Neda.
