President of the Sustainable Energy Authority (SEA) Dr. Abdul Hussain bin Ali Mirza received Shlomi Fogel, Chairman of Israeli Ampa Group. Bahrain Economic Development Board (EDB)’s CEO Khalid Humaidan, was present. Dr. Mirza briefed the israeli delegation on the latest achievements and projects made in the sustainable energy sector in Bahrain, in addition to the investment opportunities in this field. He welcomed cooperation with major international companies specialized in the fields of renewable energy and energy efficiency, studying their offers and working on the possibility of cooperation.
He stressed that Bahrain seeks to encourage the use of clean energy in order to reach the achievement of sustainable development goals consistent with Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030. Fogel expressed his appreciation to SEA president for opening opportunities of cooperation, praising the development of the Kingdom in the sustainable energy sector and the achievement of comprehensive development goals.
