Under the patronage of the President of the Sustainable Energy Authority (SEA) Dr. Abdul Hussain bin Ali Mirza, AIESEC launched the first version of “Ebtikar” program on August 9-31.
The program aims to spread awareness about climate change and renewable energy among youth 17-25 years old participants from both genders who will compete in teams and evaluated by sustainable energy specialists, through a competitive atmosphere and supervision of sustainable energy specialists to find solutions to the issues given to them.
Dr. Mirza praised AIESEC’s role and efforts in developing youth and direct their skills to sustainable contributions for a better future.
He also noted the success of the National Renewable Energy Plan and the National Energy Efficiency Plan.
Ahmed Shabir, head of AIESEC Bahrain, expressed his thanks and appreciation to SEA President for his support of their efforts to achieve national goals of renewable energy and energy efficiency.
