Manama : Speaker of the Council of Representatives Fawzia bint Abdullah Zainal praised the citizens’ active participation in the parliamentary and municipal elections, describing it as a vivid proof of Bahrain’s progressing democratic march under the reform project of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
Casting her ballot at one of the polling centres, the Speaker of the Council of Representatives commended the massive turnout of Bahraini voters since the early hours of the day, which reflects full awareness of their political rights and national responsibilities to choose their representatives for the Council of Representatives and municipal ones.
