Mideast Films in association with CINECO Bahrain will be releasing a Tamil Short Film “Thedum Podhey Tholainthen”, exclusively in Bahrain theatres on December 9th 2021. “Thedum podhey tholainthen” is 30 minutes Indian Tamil language short film, which was fully produced and made in Bahrain with talented local cast and crew by a group of Indians living in Bahrain. The Film was written & directed by Rajasekar Sittanandam and, produced by Srinivasan Arumugam, under the banner of MIDEAST FILMS. The movie’s audio was recently launched on 22nd October by leading Indian celebrities Actor Mr. Bharat Srinivasan and Actress Ms.Vani Bhojan at Chennai, India and many VIP’s from Bahrain.
Executive producer Srinivasan Arumugam said “We are elated that our movie ‘Thedum podhey tholainthen” is finally getting released in big screen this December with support of CINECO, Bahrain. Its first of its kind, a short film to come on a big screen for public theatrical release like other mainstream movies. The idea about making this movie locally is a bold step to encourage and support the creative and aspiring talents in Bahrain and GCC. Mideast films will remain to be an acceleration platform that bridges the talented local cast and crew with mainstream movie industry by multiple association agreements with leading international film production houses. Director Rajasekar and the screenwriters together have aesthetically made this movie, which will be an entertaining and emotional experience for the audiences. This project is a first step forward for the great vision and we look forward have full support from Bahrain audiences to make this movie a great success. Movie is a heart touching story that connects around a single mom, her only son and his fiancée. Every word, dialogues, emotions, music track and screen play is what I lived last 6 months and I’m totally sure, it will be one of my director piece creation in my entire life.
