The Indian School Bahrain (ISB) Mega Fair 2019 will be conducted at the school campus in Isa Town on December 15 and 16, 2019. This was announced by Indian School Hon. Chairman Prince S Natarajan at a press conference on Saturday. The Mega Fair is spearheaded by an Organizing Committee with Mr. R Ramesh as the General Convener. The main attractions of the event are the musical programmes led by Indian Musician Stephen Devassy and the team on December 15 and popular singer Rithu Pathak and troupe on December 16.
The revenue generated from the fair is mainly used for the welfare activities of the school for the benefit of teachers and students. There are many students studying in the school facing financial constraints. ISB managing committee believes it’s the duty of the school to help the financially weaker students to continue their studies. The Indian School which excels in academic and extracurricular activities has renovated the football ground and refurbished the iconic Jashanmal auditorium with the support of the community and philanthropists. Providing students an opportunity to pursue their interests in electronics and software design by working on small scale robotics projects, the Indian School has started the first-ever CBSE school Robotics Club in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
“The funds generated from the Fair will be utilized for providing fee concessions for the economically underprivileged students, welfare activities for the staff and to enhance the resources of the school, said ISB Hon. Chairman Prince S Natarajan. “The Indian School has one of the lowest fee structures in the Gulf and it runs on fees collected from the students and the charity of community members who sponsor the education of the needy and financially weaker children.”
The entry fee for the Mega Fair will be BD:2.
