BRAVE Combat Federation’s 40th iteration, scheduled to take place in Stockholm, Sweden, will mark the first time Anton Turkalj will co-headline a card in his career, as he takes on Ibo Aslan in the second most important fight of the Sweden Finale. Anton’s way to the co-main event of the evening has been one of a rising star.
A long-time IMMAF amateur veteran, Turkalj won a European Championship in 2017 and medaled in 2018 European and the 2017 IMMAF World Championship, in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Since he turned pro, Anton has not faced a single loss yet. Five wins have come his way, including a first-round TKO debut at BRAVE Combat Federation in early August against Athanasios Herkeletzis.
Turkalj also captured the headlines when he faced Sweden’s legend Alexander Gustafsson in a grappling match. Anton did not win the contest but left a great impression, going the distance against a much more seasoned opponent, which serves as an idol not only for him but for the whole Swedish MMA scene.
But this new upcoming star scouted and developed by BRAVE Combat Federation is noteworthy not only inside the cage. Outspoken and bold, Anton Turkalj aims high, and right after his first BRAVE CF win decided to call out none other than Canada’s Todd Stoute.
On August 24, Anton Turkalj will put his undefeated record and stardom aspirations on the line. At BRAVE CF 40 co-main event, in Stockholm, Sweden, Turkalj will face another unbeaten prospect in Aslan. Can he live up the hype and stand out from the pack?
