UAE records 401 cases, and two fatalities from coronavirus in the past 24 hours, taking the total cases in the country to 54,854.
The new death takes the total fatalities to 333.
The new cases were found after conducting more than 50,000 coronavirus tests across the country.
Meanwhile, 492 new recoveries were also announced, bringing the total recoveries to 45,140. This means that over 82 percent of the confirmed cases have fully recovered from the virus.
Dubai has announced a new package to help the economy cope with the effects of the coronavirus outbreak, worth 1.5 billion dirhams ($408 million), the crown prince of the emirate, Hamdan Bin Mohammed Al-Maktoum, said on Twitter on Saturday.
