UAE records 402 cases, and 1 fatality from coronavirus in the past 24 hours, taking the total cases in the country to 49,069, as the country reopens the mosques with 30 percent limit on worshippers.
The new death takes the total fatalities to 316.
Also, the country has conducted over 3.5 million exams nationwide, using the best and latest technologies.
Meanwhile, 594 new recoveries were also announced, bringing the total recoveries to 38,160. This means that over 77 percent of the confirmed cases have fully recovered from the virus.
An increase in violations of safety and health instructions put in place by the UAE Government was noticed.
The fine will be doubled for those found to be repeating the violation. Third time offenders will be subject to legal action and could face imprisonment for a period of up to six months or a fine of no less than 100,000.
