Bahrain : Indian Union minister of state (MoS) for external affairs V Muraleedharan visits the Kingdom of Bahrain on Monday for the first time.
The decision was taken at a meeting of the India-Bahrain high joint commission which was co-chaired in New Delhi by external affairs minister (EAM) S Jaishankar and his Bahraini counterpart Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani.
HE V Muraleedharan was received by HE Ambassador Tawfeeq Ahmed Al Mansoor, Undersecretary for Consular Affairs, MFA
Minister met HE Dr. Abdulatif bin Rashid Al Zayani , minister of Foreign Affairs, Bahrain and holds talks with the country’s ministers and dignitaries. This will be his first visit to Bahrain.
Minister visited Indian Embassy in the Kingdom;
As part of his visit to the Kingdom Union minister of state (MoS) for external affairs V Muraleedharan interacted with representatives of eight Indian schools in Bahrain at the Embassy of India. During the meeting, the the initiatives and measures taken by the Government of Indian in the education sectors , including the National Education Policy was discussed. The school representatives briefed the minister about the issues they face, he assured them of the Indian government’s constant support in addressing the concerns.
