Manama: The Universities 195 Higher Education Virtual Conference kicked off today under the patronage of Education Minister Dr. Majid bin Ali Al Nuaimi. The opening ceremony was attended by an elite of ministers, presidents of universities, technical and vocational institutes, experts, and interested participants from different countries. The conference was deemed one of the biggest specialized conferences specialized in higher, technical, and vocational education.

Dr. Al Nuaimi praised the efforts made to organize the conference which brought together 195 universities as well as technical and vocational institutes from across the world. He wished the conference every success in coming up with recommendations that contribute to upgrading the higher, technical, and vocational education sector. He pointed out the growing role of those institutions in economic development and feeding the labor market with highly qualified graduates.
