The first repatriation flight IX474 (Air India) has departed to Kochi from Bahrain International Airport at 5:00 BAH Time.

The flight was scheduled to fly to Kochi from Bahrain International Airport today at 4:30 in the evening, but it became 30 minutes late.

177 passengers were there in this repatriation flight, as a part of the Vande Bharat Mission evacuation programmme.

All the tickets were given to the passengers by the Indian Embassy on Thursday.

More than 13,000 Indian residents living in Bahrain have registered on the Indian Embassy’s online platform to return to their homeland amid the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

“Over 13,000 people have registered on the Indian Embassy’s online platform.” Mr. Norbu Negi, Chargé d’Affaires of the Indian Embassy told to the Starvision News on Thursday.
