Bahrain : Wedge Networks Inc. (“Wedge” or “Company”), a leader in intelligent real-time threat prevention solutions, is excited to announce its participation in the upcoming Arab International Cybersecurity Summit (AICS) on December 6 – 8, 2022, at Exhibition World Bahrain.  Wedge, a portfolio company of Bahrain-based international investment consultancy firm, Seaspring W.L.L. (“Seaspring”), will participate at the event as a silver sponsor in partnership with Seaspring.

Serving as the largest convention in the GCC Gulf region on cybersecurity, the AICS will be held under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain, and co-hosted by the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC). The summit will welcome numerous government regulators, industry professionals and solution providers to offer a global overview of cybersecurity and information security aspects.

Head officed in Canada, Wedge is a leading cybersecurity solution provider and a recognized specialist in ‘Real-Time Threat Prevention’, a critical requirement in cyber defense and protection.

At AICS, Wedge will present “Wedge Absolute Real-Time Threat Prevention”, a market leading solution that delivers protection to both private and public sectors, along with exciting announcements on product innovations and partnership developments.

Wedge’s Gulf market reach has been facilitated by its partnership with Seaspring.  Commenting on the significance of this collaboration, Shaikh Isa bin Khalid Al-Khalifa, Founder and Managing Director of Seaspring, and a Wedge Board Member, stated “AICS provides the perfect opportunity for Wedge to expand their cybersecurity solutions to the Gulf Region, and particularly Bahrain. This comes at an opportune time as Bahrain’s Vision 2030 Cybersecurity Strategy is moving towards ensuring all industries and entities are sufficiently protected against potential cyber threats.  As a leader in the field of cybersecurity, I have no doubt that Wedge’s technologies will be of great value to partners and entities looking to safeguard against cybercrimes.”

Expressing Wedge’s enthusiasm at the forthcoming participation, Dr. Hongwen Zhang, Wedge’s CEO & CTO (Co-Founder) said, “The MENA region is an important market for Wedge, particularly in our mission to combat the latest digital threats and secure the cloud-connected world.   Our participation at AICS is an important milestone for Wedge in the region as we look forward to forging new partnerships and collectively working together to create a safe and secure digital world.”
